The Taxback Group Supports The Cancer Clinical Research Trust

27 March 2015

When it comes to choosing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, we like to take into account the causes that matter most to our staff. The Taxback Group has long supported cancer research funding initiatives as unfortunately most of us know someone affected by the disease.

The Cancer Clinical Research Trust (CCRT) is a charity which supports a cancer research programme which is carried out by leading institutions across Dublin. The programme, which is lead by Professor John Crown, focuses on ‘translational research’ which is research that links the laboratory and the clinic.

To date, the research has carried out has resulted in ground-breaking treatments for many types of cancer. We met with Professor Crown to present him with a cheque for €750.

We wish CCRT all the best with the revolutionary work they are doing to fight the war against cancer.
